Unlike most Caribbean Lobster fisheries, the Florida Lobster may not be tailed or frozen at sea and must be delivered whole fresh (on ice) or whole live.
Florida Lobster is caught and packed for Wild Oceans by Keys Fisheries, the largest fishery in the Florida Keys.
Florida accounts for around 2500-3000mt of lobster production annually, with a high percentage now directed as live lobster to Asian markets.
100% of all Florida Lobsters sold by Wild Oceans are wild-caught.
